So I just got a new ns-wbrdvd. I have a Samsung LN52A650 1080p TV. I noticed that everything was playing at 1080i so I manually switched to 1080p/60hz and I get incompatible signal. I know my tv can accept 1080/60. If I switch it to 1080p/24(film mode) it works fine. On 1080/60 occasionally it will work a few seconds at a time flickering and making a poping sound off and on and other times it just says incompatible signal. I have another DVD player and it displays 1080/60 just fine. I have tried different cables too and I get the same results with all of them. Here is the funny part. HDMI port 1-3 are grouped together in back, port 4 is on the side by itself. If I use the back 3 ports 1080/60 does not work. If I use port 4 on the side, it works fine. I have another dvd player using 1080/60 that works fine with the first 3 ports though. So it seems like there is a conflict with the insignia and the samsung tv on ports 1-3. I found someone else with my tv that had a similar issue but no answers, that post is here http://community.insigniaproducts.com/t5/Blu-ray-a

Hello steelers1,
Welcome to Community@Insignia™!
Since the problem you describe seems to be with the TV and not our player (as Upacreek concluded in the topic to which you linked) , I would recommend contacting Samsung for further assistance.

John
