I just purchased an Insignia ns-2brdvd and successfully installed the firmware update. However, the player will not load DVD+R disks, it just shows a blue screen and the player states "root". These disks were finalized and can play on my other non-blueray disk player. Any suggestions? Thanks

I consulted the owner's manual for issues relating to recorded DVD concerns and the recommendation for issues when playing disks is to reset the player to factory defaults. On the Set Up menu select System, then Reset Settings and follow the prompts.
