Wrong again. Why do you keep giving bad advice? I gave you all the technical reasons why you're completely wrong in THIS thread not long ago. There is no code for the WBRDVD, WBRDVD2, BRDVD3 or BRDVD4 in any universal remote, period. Not any UEI remote (DirecTV, Comcast, Charter, One-for-all, RCA, Audiovox, Radio Shack, etc.), not any URC remote, not any philips remote, or sony or GE or any other remote you can imagine. The only options are using advanced codes with UEI remotes (not DirecTV models), learning or harmony.
Perhaps you simply don't understand that newer insignias use different codes than older ones. I've tried to be as clear as I can and provide as much detail as possible to prove the point, yet you refuse to listen. The codes you listed are for the BRDVD and BRDVD2, not any other later models. The codes are completely incompatible. Not a single funciton is shared with newer models. I've given you the protocol details, so I don't know how to explain any better. Would a bit-by-bit explanation make it any clearer?

Gee, I'd better reprogram my Harmony One, since I must have been tricked into believing that it has been controlling my NS-WBRDVD for over a year. I can't speak for other universal remotes, but Logitech certainly has the codes.

Ummm... that's what I said. Since when do you enter codes on harmony? I've controlled my insignia for over a year with harmony too. Tons of remotes will control insignia, but none have built-in codes. Harmony is in it's own universe since it doesn't use setup codes, and all its commands come from user learns. So harmony didn't get it's commands from insignia. Nobody else has gotten codes from insignia either. The setup codes do not exist.
See the bottom of THIS post of mine from over a year ago where I list harmony as the number one solution and specifically say that insignia is in the harmony database.
The point is insignia support keeps giving bad advice. Telling people to try this code or that code or do a code search is pointless because the codes don't exist. I stand by my statement that there is no universal on the planet that you can enter a setup code into and have it control the insignia models in question.

So basically you are telling me that I should go buy a new blue ray player since the Harmony remote is like $75 and a new samsung smart blue ray with wireless is $79 hmmm or a Roku like $70 something.
I find this disturbing and really upsets me that Insignia or Best Buy do not have a solution for this. My dog ate my daughters remote to her blue ray, which we mostly use to access the netflix and cinemanow. I was going to attempt an app remote but I can't connect the blue ray to my new router without the stinking remote. frustrating!!!
This is just plane terrible business on your part Insignia/Best Buy.
