I was asked to upgrade the firmware. I accepted and now the player will not work - no video, audio, notta just a hello and blue blinking light then powers off.
I unplugged the hdmi cable and the power cord - all night. When I plugged in the power cord the next day (without the hdmi) cable, same thing. Plugged in the hdmi cable, same thing.
I got on here and saw where everyone was rolling back their firmware by way of usb. So I downloaded the previous version to usb and now the thing is in a cycle of: power on, blue light blinking, Hello flashes on then off and the blue light continues to blink and the cycle keeps repeating. Remember, I have no video to see whether it's doing anything or now because for some stupid reason we lost it too.
Help would be much appreciated. I hate to think that after one year of use I now have to get another player because the firmware screwed the thing up.
Oh and before I attempted the usb idea, I unplugged it from the wall for more than an hour.
