What model is your Zenith?  Are you sure it is a 1080p set?  Many sets are marked "1080p" because they can accept up to a 1080p signal, even if their native display resolution is 720p.  (Or, in the case of LCD panels 768p.)  If your set is 40" measured diagonally or less, it is almost certainly a 768p set.  Larger than that and it is likely 1080p.  (At less than 40" most people can't see the difference between 1080p and 768p anyway, and a 32" or 36" panel with that many pixels would be prohibitively expensive.)

How are you connecting the player to the TV?  HDMI?  Composite?

Regards,

Hi

I just called LG Canada because if you need help with Zenith you must call LG Canada and i asked the tech guy with is my Insignia blu-ray detecting the tv as a 720p and he did a look up on my model and he confirmed that its the 1080p full hd and its the same model as the Z42LC6DF that is on the zenith site.He says that there must be a problem with detection on the blu-ray.Because i still have the sticker on my TV that says FULL HD 1080p resolution

And on my insignia i choose the 1080p resolution and put 24p to ON. And the movies are incredible. So if my tv wasnt 1080p there would be a problem.
