I know this model is discontinued but last night this player ceased to play ANY Blu-Ray disc. Is there a firmware update more recent than the June 2009 one? I had issues back in May but those were resolved with the June 2009 update.
Is there another model firmware update I can load?
There is no newer firmware update available. Does the player work with DVDs or CDs? I would recommend setting your player to factory defaults, then power-cycling (turning the unit off and unplugging it for a few minutes). If the problem persists, repairs may be required. Service can be obtained by carrying the unit in to the place of purchase.
I am having the same issue.. I'm not too happy with Insignia for not making any more firmware updates. Personally, i'm not going to 70 dollars to fix the thing when i can buy a new one for a little bit more. This will be the last time i buy Insignia.
