Blu-ray and DVD Players/Recorders

Greetings,

When I have turned on my Blu Ray player recently it has been getting stuck on the home screen.  It flashes the blue INSIGNIA logo and then the screen goes black on a continuous loop.  INSIGNIA...blank screen....iNSIGNIA....blank screen... and so on and so forth.

I unplugged the device for a few days to no avail. I also just downloaded the latest firmware and plugged it into the machine but the software update screen does not make an appearance.

Is there a fix for this?

Since you've tried the steps that we would normally recommend, it's likely that your player will require repairs. Service can be obtained by carrying the player in to the place of purchase.
