Blu-ray and DVD Players/Recorders

During Blu-Ray Movies (Cars 2 and Cowboys and Aliens so far) the movie will pause, then speed up for a few seconds. Occasionally the disc will freeze completely, needing a stop, and play to get it moving again.  I can also hear the drive seeking the correct spot on the disc during these pauses/freezes.

Loaded latest firmware by network connection - did not help.

It sounds like you are experiencing hardware issues with your player. I would suggest that you take the player, along with the receipt, to the place of purchase to obtain service. The NS-BRDVD4 has a one year warranty from the date of purchase.
