Blu-ray and DVD Players/Recorders

We purchased the NS-L46X-10A tv and NS-BRDVD3 from BestBuy because they were packaged together on sale and I'm not very impressed with the deal.  Now I know why the DVD player was "free"

First, I cannot program the TV remote to actually work the BluRay player even though they are both insignia products... stupid.

Second, when we change the TV volume, using the TV remote, it pauses the BluRay player... again, STUPID!!

How can I not program the thing to control the DVD player, but some of its buttons already do!

I need to call someone, who?

I have the same type of thing working with the Dynex TV and BRDVD3.  When you go to turn the volume up the BR player steps back.

I am running into exactly the same issue. Really annoying. Hopefully there will be a firmware update very, very soon to fix this serious bug.

Hi,

The remote control issue (TV's remote unexpectedly controlling the blu-ray player) has been adressed (fixed) with the latest firmware update; please make sure you update your blu-ray player.

Unfortunately there are no codes to program the TV's remote to control the blu-ray player, but we'll keep that in mind for future products.
