NS-WBRDVD & Lion's Gate Movies

My player works great. I use it for netflix, cinema now, pandora and to watch blue rays and dvds. Everytime I try to play a Lion's Gate Blue Ray Movie it will never finish loading and I cannot watch it. Sometimes I can get the sound to work, but no picture. All other blue ray movies work fine. I put the same Lion's Gate Blue Ray disks in my samsung laptop and they are good to go. I have installed every firmware update that has come out including the last cd I got in the mail that had cinema now on it. I know it is a firmware issue because my laptop had to download a update before it could play the Lion's Gate movies. Is the a firmware update coming out to fix this issue? Thanks.

do you have a thumb drive conected to your player? if you have access to bd live set to on, then you need to make sure you have at least a 2 gb thumb drive, if you dont have a thumb drive try setting bd live access to prohibt

Re: NS-WBRDVD & Lion's Gate Movies

Yes, I have a 2g thumb drive in there and am able to use bd live. It is only the new Lion's Gate Movies that don't work like kick-ass and killers. I am able to use my laptop via hdmi to watch them on my flat screen so there in nothing wrong with the disks, but no joy from the insignia. I did have to download an update on my laptop the first time I watched one of the newer blueray disks.

Hello vlfranklin,

I'm forwarding your request for technical support to our engineering team for additional research. However, for what  wp34gsh states (he seemed to be able to watch the movie), seem more like a particular issue with your player.

We’all do our best to get you a response within the next few business days, so please check back!

Thank you,
Guille
