Since I have upgraded the Firmware to include Pandora, I'm seeing a few intermittent problems. Keep in mind that this is a unit that has not given me any problems in nearly a year.
First:
I'm seeing a message about my BDLive Internet not being properly configured. I really don't know what that's all about, it does, and always has worked perfectly.
Secondly:
I get random lockups in the middle of viewing netflix. It does not happen very often, about once every 4 days or so.
Third:
Sometimes when loading a Netflix movie, just as soon as the red progress bar fills,. and it's ready to start the movie, the screen will sometimes flash green, then continue normally,. and sometimes it turns green, and stays that way. The Audio continues normally. they only way to fix it,. is power down. Again, not very often, but enough to be annoying. I do not know if this occurs while playing a Blu-Ray because I don't play them that often.
Fourth:
During playback on Netflix, a couple of times during the movie, an error box pops up telling me that this movie is not available for instant viewing. Please select a another movie, but the movie continues uninterrupted, and all I have to do is press OK, and the error disappears. It's not disruptive, but very annoying.
Any thoughts, ideas?
Thanks,
Jim.

Hello Jim,
Welcome to Community@Insignia™!
This is the first time I read about this kind of issue while watching Netflix so I'll keep my eyes open!
In your particular case, regarding BD Live, it is a feature Bluray disks have so you can download additional content. You can configure it at the Settings menu on System, you will find a BD-Live Internet Access option that you can set to "Always Allow Access".
Regarding Netflix issues, double check you are getting a good signal strength on the player (sometimes poor signal or intermittent interference as the one caused by cell phones, wireless phones or other routers in the area can cause connection problems).
If you keep experiencing this issues, my advise will be for you to reset the player by using the “Reset Settings” menu, and choosing "Deactivate all connected applications" that will unlink the player from both Netflix and Pandora services. Then just restart the player and connect it to Netflix once again as prior to the update.
If it was useful, and you liked it, Kudo it!
Thank you,
Gonza

I checked, and that setting is correct. As far as the other problems, I do have a wireless phone,. and moved it. I also checked the wireless signal, and it is all the way up, excellent.
We'll see if moving the phone clears up the locking up problem.
Thanks,
Jim.
