NS-WBRDVD2 Blue light blinking

After pressing the power on, the blue light start BLINKING and  say "HELLO". Every buttons don't recognize after pressing multiple times. I unplug, wait 30 mins to 3 hrs and somtime i wait for the next day to turn it on. Still the unit deosn't recognize from controller nor my finger beside the power button are the only one work.

 

I think this is the biggest issue that you guys need to fix before going any furture issue. How can you use the unit if everything doesn't work. It like buying a broken blue ray player.

Since you've tried the troubleshooting we would normally recommend, your player will likely require repairs. Service can be obtained by carrying your product in to the place of purchase.

I would love to do that. But many people never hold on to the receipt. We throw them away week after purchase. I never thought this happend to the point that the player doesn't work period. I'am an engineering myself. I work and troubleshoot electrical and mechanical and sometime programing the unit. Thing like this will never get away from me. But i don't have the tools nor the software to test this.

 

I think you guy should take this unit back and troubleshoot the problem. I have notice that this proplem are very common to this particular unit. You can google and find out that many people complaint about this isssue.

Hi - I am also having this problem. My warranty has expired. Is there anything I can do to get it running again or do you have any information on this? Thanks - Brad

THIS IS THE ABSOLUTE WORST DVD PLAYER I HAVE EVER PURCHASED FROM BEST BUY!!!! AND MY HUSBAND AND I HAVE BEEN PREMIER SILVER MEMBERS FOR OVER 4 YRS NOW, WE HAVE SPENT A FORTUNE AT BEST BUY AND WE ARE POOR!!!  HE'S DISABLED AND I AM CURRENTLY OUT OF WORK, BUT SOMEHOW WE MANAGE TO PURCHASE FROM BEST BUY!!!  THEY USE TO BE OUR HOME AWAY FROM HOME WHEN WE WERE BOTH WORKING...

ANYWAY, HAVING SAME PROBLEM WITH NS-WBRDVD2 BLU RAY PLAYER BY INSIGNIA!!!  AND I ALSO HAVE DONE ALL POSSIBLE TROUBLESHOOTING!!!  THIS IS JUST FRANKLY A PIECE OF CRAP BLU RAY PLAYER!! WI-FI RARELY WORKED!!  TWICE THE BLINKING BLUE LIGHT HAPPENED AND IT OUT OF NOWHERE STARTED WORKING AGAIN FOR NO APPARENT THING WE DID - B/C TRUST, ALL WAS DONE POSSIBLE TO FIX THIS PROBLEM!!! 

I AM VERY UPSET THAT AFTER HAVING SUCH GREAT EXPERIENCES AT BEST BUY, BOUGHT ALL MY MACS THERE, TV'S, ETC... AND SEEMS AS IF IN THE PAST YEAR THEY HAVE REALLY GONE DOWNHILL ON THE QUALITY OF THE INSIGNIA ITEMS!!! I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS ITEM TO MY GRANDMOTHER! AND SHE'S PASSED AWAY!!

ALL THE HYPE OF THIS WHEN IT CAME OUT???? AND WHY... SEEMS AS IF IT SHOULD HAVE A RECALL OR CLASS ACTION LAW SUIT FOR BAIT AND SWITCH!!??  I BELIEVE WE HAVE RIGHTS AS CONSUMERS - COME TOGETHER , CLASS ACTION LAWSUIT OR SOMETHING.,.I CAN;T BELIEVE BEST BUY WILL NOT WORK WITH ANYONE ON TRADING THIS IN FOR AT LEAST AN UPGRADE!!! AT NO CHARGE!!  I MEAN THAT'S JUST GOOD BUSINESS ETHICS!! AND CUSTOMER SERVICE!  OH YEAH, AMERICA HAS FORGOTTEN ALL ABOUT CUSTOMER SERVICE..I FORGOT!  HAVING BEEN IN MARKETING, BUSINESS, AND CUSTOMER SERVICE FOR OVER 15 YRS!! I AM TRULY APPALLED THAT AFTER HAVING AS I FEEL HAS BEEN A PERSONAL RELATIONSHIP WITH BEST BUY, THAT THEY WOULD TREAT CUSTOMERS THIS WAY!!  

MAYBE CLARK HOWARD OR THE MEDIA SHOULD BE ALERTED, AS WELL!!
