My year old NS-WBRDVD2 now shuts off immediately after it was turned on. I talked with Insignia several times. They had me attempt to update the firmware using a flash drive. This not work, so after some more research on their part they determined it was electrical short. Has anyone else had this issue and were you able to find a fix? I took the player back to Best Buy but the player is 3 weeks out of warranty and they could not do anything about it. They said to get it fixed would probably cost as much as what I paid for the player.
This is pretty disappointing that a Insignia blu ray player that was manufactured in August 2010, according to the sticker on the back of the player, is no longer working. No more Insignia products for me and no more purchasing from Best Buy!
