Blu-ray and DVD Players/Recorders

Here is a weird one! When I load the blueray disk of the movie FROZEN, I get video, but no audio from the previews that precede the movie. The audio and video play fine on the movie itself, but not the previews. The audio as well as the video plays fine in my older NS-WBRDVD bluray player of the previews but not in my NS-WBRDVD2. If anybody has this movie in bluray and a NS-WBRDVD2, I would be interested if you can duplicate my problem. This is the first bluray that I have come across the problem of no audio. I have updated to the latest firmware on both players.

Sometimes the audio on the trailers will not be encoded the same way as in the movies, and depending on the Audio Settings on your bluray player (and the receiver if you have one), you may experience this issue. Here is something you can try: on the player, at the Audio Settings, select Bitstream Mixed and/or PCM as the desired output, since these 2 formats will cover most of the basic encodings. If you happen to have a receiver, check it's encoding as well.
