Just bought a NS-WBRDVD, updated to the latest firmware via my wireless network and activated a netflix trial. However when I try to access the netflix through the bluray player it gets stuck on the loading screen (red stripe on top with netflix, a white screen with loading and a circle going around). This seems to go on indefinately. I have checked in my netflix account and the bluray is recognized there as activated, so I don't know what is going on. I'm going to return the bluray if I can't get this to work.

I am having the same issue. Stuck on Loading... screen. The movie reel will spin for a few seconds and then freeze. I have several movies in my instant queue on the netflix website. I have no DVD in the player. I am connected to the internet wirelessly and have a great connection. I have run the network test and passed successfully. I have an IP Address. I updated the firmware.
I am lost.
Any help would be great

Welcome to Community@Insignia™!
If you're experiencing "freezing" issues, you can try to reset the player. Make sure your firmware updates are current, and if you're still having problems; there may be content on the disc that the player does not recognize.

Thanks for the reply, however, you may have misunderstood. The problem is with Netflix Instant Streaming, not with a DVD or Blu-Ray. I went to BestBuy today to exchange my player. One of the employees suggested I upgrade from wireless G to N, which I now have. After spending the evening configuring the network, the same issue is occurring. So I drove back to BestBuy and exchanged the player for the same model. I plugged it in, activated the Netflix with the code and the same issue occurred. Freezes at the Loading screen of Netflix. Only the power button works on the remote. Grrrrrrrr....
P.S. I tried Netflix before and after the firmware upgrade. Made no difference...exact same problem.

Try resetting the player, and on Netflix page (on your computer) erase the instant queue you have and create a new one, with a couple of different movies. You can also, just as a test, try with a wired connection to your router, to see if the issue persists.
If it was useful, and you liked it, Kudo it!

Well, I was unable to resolve the issue I did try using an ethernet cable directly to the router. I also tried an ethernet cable directly to the cable modem and that made zero difference. The problem is most likely with the firmware. It's not just a problem with Insignia, it is also a problem with the LG brand blu-ray player. Unfortunatly I ended up going with a Samsung BD6500 I believe. (Open Box deal at Best Buy) It was my last ditch effort and low and behold...it worked. It worked right away and wirelessly the first time.
Thanks for any help you offered anyway. Good luck with the firmware fixes!!!
