Blu-ray and DVD Players/Recorders

I recently updated the firm ware on my NS-2BRDVD to the version posted September 2010.  Tried to play Gnomeo and Juliet and The Incredibles.  When I played The Princess and the Frog, it started out with no sound but then worked.  I used this disc since it had worked prior to the update to see if it was the other two discs.  Both had sound at the menu but when the movies were played, the sound was gone.  Is there a link to the older firm ware so I can go back to that version?

I should also note, dvds play just fine.  Only have the issues with blu-ray discs.

I would suggest resetting the player to default settings by following these steps:

1. Press "Setup" on the remote to access the player's menu.
2. Select "System".
3. Select "Reset Settings" and press "Enter", then select "OK", followed again by pressing "Enter".
4. Press "Setup" again to close the menu.
5. Turn off the player and unplug its power, then leave it unplugged for 30 minutes.
6. Plug it back in and try playing a Bluray.

If you are still experiencing issues after doing this, then I would suggest taking the player to your local Geek Squad and the player might be in need of repair.
