Re: Remote Code Needed For New NS-WBRDVD

I didn't find them. I used a couple of freeware programs IR and Remote Master to analyze the signals from the remote and generate the codes. I don't have a BD002, so I have no way to get the codes. You'll need to ask Insignia in the NS-BDLIVE01 thread. Post your remote model as well since they all use different codes.

Re: Remote Code Needed For New NS-WBRDVD

Help!

I have an original Insignia remote for my TV.  I also have an NS-WBRDVD3.  I'd like to have both devices controlled by one remote.

Does Gonzalo's response mean that I can't?

Hello,

As of now our Blu-ray players can only be controlled with the original Insignia remote.

We will consider this for future products.

Gonzo

Re: Remote Code Needed For New NS-WBRDVD

adingus, those two models were made by different manufacturers, funai and desay respectively so their remotes are not compatible with each other at all. In order to be able to control them with one remote your best bet is a learning remote such as the Sony VL600 and learn all the functions from the original remotes. If you do not have the original remotes perhaps I can help you, just email me at with your email and I will get in touch with you.

The insignia tv remote will work fine since. It doesn't matter who makes the tv or player. See this thread: http://community.insigniaproducts.com/t5/Blu-ray-and-DVD-Players/remote-control-codes-for-ATLAS-DVR-...

Re: Remote Code Needed For New NS-WBRDVD

I can't edit my posts, so here's another to explain my post above. The other poster may not realize the insignia comes with a universal remote capable of controling any device, no matter what the manufacturer. It's also a learning remote, like the sony that was suggested.
