Thanks for the feedback! Does this happen randomly or always with the same songs? Did you try a couple of USB flash drives? When playing MP3 from a DVD do you experience also problems? After the audio drops does playback resume automatically or do you have to do something to continue listening? Are you using your TV speakers or do you have a home theatre installed?

If the problem appears on both, seems it's a software issue. My advise is to download the firmware once again and try updating it. If the issue persists, please take the player back to the store so a technician can assist you further on this.
