I have read many posts about NS-WBRDVD issues with the Jan 2011 firmware update, but they haven't helped me with mine. I installed it over air this morning, and encountered problems. I re-installed via USB stick too, and the problems weren't fixed.
I have used this player and its wireless connectivity for a year and a half without problem until this morning when the firmware upgrade was done.
Now, after the upgrade, Netflix freezes on the screen with the Netflix banner up top and the "Loading..." with spinning wheel message screen (the spinning wheel stops spinning). Pandora and CinemaNow still work. Newer Blu-Ray discs no longer play, but older ones do. Reading other posts, I tried to reduce the number of Netflix titles in my Queue without improvement. I have unplugged the box for over 6 hours. I have reset all to factory settings. I have deactivated Netflix on the player, and deactivated the player on the Netflix website. I then re-enabled them without re-gaining connectivity. The Netflix "Loading..." screen continues to freeze, and can only be exited by power cycling the player.
I spoke to Insignia CS, and they advised the previous firmware version was recently taken down from their site due to low traffic and can only be uploaded to the Insignia site with direction from Corporate (!). At this point, I just want to roll back the firmware. Can anyone provide a link to the previous firmware?
