WBRDVD2

I cannot access bd-live features on this unit. All other features(Netflix, Pandora, and cinemanow) work fine. Any help is appreciated.

Hello jaura,

Welcome to Community@Insignia™!

Some studios, like Disney, are phasing out BD-Live content. For what Blu-ray movies are you unable to access BD-Live features?

Re: WBRDVD2

Hello jaura,

There are few things you can do in this situation. First you should verify that your BD-Live access level is not set to "Prohibit Access" which will disallow the player from connecting. You can view the current permission level by using the current steps:

  1. Press the Home/Setup Key
  2. Using the arrow keys on your remote highlight Settings and press Enter
  3. Using the arrows again, highlight BD-Live and press Enter
  4. Using the arrows again, highlight BD-Live Internet Access and press Enter
  5. Using the arrows again, highlight Always Allow Access and press Enter

This will help to ensure that you are maintaining a connection to the BD-Live servers for your movie.

Some movies require that the player download a substantial amount of information in order to use the BD-Live feature, as this may be the case with this particular movie I also recommend inserting an empty thumb drive into the USB port on the back of the player as it may be necessary to increase the player's storage capacity.
