i purchased the ns55e7 led tv. the pic is awesome!! i have a major problem though. i have a sony bdps700 blueray player and it will not play bluray movies on the tv. the movie would play for about five minutes then it would stutter and freeze up. check for firmware upgrades all are up to date. it will play regular dvd movies just fine. i have hooked up with a hdmi cable. i called sony support and thet reccomended it be sent in for service. it is out of warranty so i just purchased a new blue ray player and it works fine. so for the heck of it i plugged in the sony to my samsung lcd tv with standard yellow red white a/v cables and the bkuray plays fine!! the samsung is 60hz and the insignia is 120hz. am i missing something? do i have to adjust a setting? any advice would help.
Have you tried connecting the Blu-ray player to any other TV's with an HDMI cable? It is possible that the player is experiencing an issue where it can not properly transmit Blu-ray video over HDMI.
