Will not record from dvr to the dvd

I'll be more than happy to assist you on this, however I'll need more information in order to check this:

- Do you get an error code?

- Does this happen with a particular disk?

- Have you tried recording other disks apart from this particular one?

-Are you trying to record on an empty disk or with an already recorded one?

- How are you connecting your DVR to the recorder?

- What media type are you using? (DVD-R/-RW, DVD+R/+RW, CD, CD-R/RW)

Please provide me with that information and any other you feel may be relevant.

My dvd recorder is connected to time warner dvr.  I am using dvd-r disc's.  When I try to record from dvr to dvd recorder (programs that are recorded on dvr) I am able to record some shows, but not all, i get a message saying uncopyable movie.

Hello al45065,

If you are getting the message "uncopyable movie cannot record", this will be because the show/disk is copyrighted, and you will not be able to do home copies of it. As not all shows/disks are copyrighted, you will be able co record some shows but not others.
