I purchased a digital keychain for my wife for Christmas and have been unable to get it to work. The model is NS-DKEYRD10 and I'm running OS-X 10.5.8. The software that came pre-loaded didn't work nor did a driver that was released for the prior version of a picture viewer keychain. Has anyone gotten one of these things to work? The only reason I purchased it was because it specified that it was Mac compatible.
Thanks...

Hello JeredG,
Welcome to Community@Inisgnia™!
This device is compatible with Mac. It would be plug and play on OS X v10.4-10.5. Once you plug the USB, you should get a "Connecting" message and shortly after you will be able to open the Key Chain and run "mac_imageviewer4.dmg" to start managing your pictures.
At what point does the device stop responding? Are you able to connect to your Mac or it fails when opening the program?
Thank you,
Gonza

When I first plugged it in it worked...somewhat. Its been so long (bought it at Christmas also) that I've forgotten how I actually got the four photos onto the keychain and then today I accidental erased them. When the Image4 program comes on it doesn't access the programs that actually have the photos, just macintosh HD and the insignia website. When I click on Mac HD it won't open, so I can't put photos onto the keychain...so much for a surprise birthday gift for my MIL! Connecting stays on and does nothing. Unless it is incredibly slow, like '1985 download' slow. Can I reinstall Image4? I can't find it on my HD either.
Thanks

got it to work...sorta. I had to make a new folder in my Macintosh HD just for the photos I want to add to the keychain. Awkward but at least it works.
I had to delete whatever Image4 program I had and reinstall it.
The keychain is still "connecting".
