Is the camcorder connected correctly?
- The USB cable should be firmly connected to the camcorder via the USB jack and the USB port on your computer.
The camcorder may be turned Off, turn it On.
If the USB cable is plugged into a USB hub, try connecting the camcorder directly to a USB port on your computer.
Is the battery installed correctly?
- Slide the battery cover off your camcorder.
- Insert the battery into the battery compartment. Make sure that the positive (+) and negative (-) terminals on the battery align with the + and – symbols in the battery compartment.
- Replace the battery compartment cover.
The battery may be dead. Recharge your battery by using the supplied power adapter.

Press (Record/Play) to switch to playback mode.
Press < or > to select MOVIE.
Press OK.
Press < or > to select the previous or next movie.
Press (Movie Shutter) to start playback. Press this button again to pause playback.
To control movie playback:
- Press and hold < or > to fast-reverse or fast-forward. Release the button to resume normal playback.
- Press T (up) or W (down) to increase or decrease the volume.

Press (Record/Play) to switch to playback mode.
Press < or > to select PICTURE.
Press OK.
Press < or > to select the previous or next picture.
To control picture playback:
- Press T (up) or W (down) to enlarge the picture.
- To navigate around the enlarged picture, press OK to enter navigation mode, then press <, , T (up), or W (down). To exit navigation mode, press OK again.

Windows XP, Windows Vista
- Connect the mini-USB cable to the USB port on your camcorder, then connect the other end to a USB port on your computer.
- Open My Computer or Windows Explorer on your computer.
- A new “Removable Disk” appears in the drive list.
- Double-click Removable Disk to view the contents. Your movies are located in the folder named DCIM\200MOVIE.
- Select all of the movies. Copy and paste them to the desired location on your computer.
Mac OS
- Connect the mini-USB cable to the USB port on your camcorder, then connect the other end to a USB port on your computer.
- Double-click the new “Removable” drive that appears on the desktop to view the contents. Your movies are located in the folder named DCIM\200MOVIE.
- Select all of the movies. Copy and paste them to the desired location on your computer.
You may also remove the SD card from the camcorder and use a card reader to transfer your movies.

Make sure that you have saved any wanted videos before you delete them.
- Press (Record/Play) to switch to playback mode.
- Press < or > to select MOVIE.
- Press OK twice to open the movie option menu.
- Press < or > to select Delete.
- Press OK to open the delete menu.
- Press < or > to select the movie you want to delete.
- Press W (down) to delete the movie. If you want to delete all the movies, press T (up). A confirmation message appears.
- Press T (up) or W (down) to select Yes. If you want to cancel the deletion, select No.
- Press OK to confirm your selection and close the menu.
