I have tried everything I can think of and after playing a handful of the hpotos I have loaded into the internal memory, the frame seems to freeze on a picture. My only recourse whne this happens is to press the back button.

I use a Canon 5D Mark II, which produces very high resolution photos. Could the high resolution photos be the issue? Thanks

High resolution images with large file sizes can impact the performance of your Digital Photo Frame.  When copying files to the frames internal memory, you can select an option to Resize which optimizes (compresses) the image allowing for both better performance of the frame and the storage of more photos.  From the Home screen, select Setup, then Copy Type, then Resize.  Additional details can be found in the owner's manual.  If the problem persists after trying this, please let us know.

Thank you for your response. I had already sleected the image resize option on the frame and still had the issues. Is there a recommended photo size that I should use?

As John stated on the previous message, large images can impact the performance of your the picture frame. Very large ones, in fact, can even cause the device to stop responding because of the amount of memory sued to read this file. I am not quite sure if the problem appears on a particular picture, or if it will happen randomly, but, if the error is on a specific picture, you will need to check if the file is corrupted. Also try using an external program to change the picture resolution to a smaller one ( 3 Megapixels) will be more than enough based on the frame's size.
