When I import my AVI clips from my camcorder, it shows all the clips with x's on them. It doesn't allow me to click and drag them onto the storyboard to make a movie. I bought the activation code from ArcSoft, but now it doesn't give me the option to input it into the program to use this feature.

Hello gearhead54,
Welcome to Community@Insignia™!
In order to better understand, I have some questions:
- When you say, "it shows all the clips with x's on them," what do you mean? Do you mean in Movie Maker, MediaImpression, or Windows Explorer?
- Are you able to view the clips on the camcorder and/or on the computer?
- Which feature are you trying to use that you purchased the activation for?
- Have you contacted ArcSoft about the activation issue?
ArcSoft may be able to offer you troubleshooting for their product, especially as you have purchased a product key from them.
Regards,
John
