I bought Insignia GPS and experienced maps are not updated. When I checked Insignia site there is no such facility available. I am disappointed. Again this gadget is very slow to start. I am not that happy with the product. Dinesh

 Any one plan to buy a GPS never go for Insignia, you will lost and shamed as no MAP updates.

Dinesh,

 

I bought one a while back.  After doing some research at www.gpsunderground.com, I managed to load a replacement operating system on my unit, and could then update maps.  It is still a  VERY slow booting GPS, but I got better maps and features out of the deal.
