We have an ns-m10ohd installed in our car, today my son put in a disk and the screen said no disk. We tried resetting the player and the same message appeared on the screen. Any suggestions?

Hello dcruse89,
Welcome to Community@Insignia™!
What type of disk was inserted, DVD or CD? Was the disk factory issue or burned on computer? If it was burned, was the disk finalized? At what speed was the disk burned (low speeds like 4x are recommended to ensure best results)? If it was a factory disk, what was the title? And additional information you can provide (more is better) would be helpful.
Regards,
John

The disc's were factory movies....we tried about 10 different titles and the same screen message appeared.

Hello again dcruse89,
I should have asked this previously, but have you tried a lens cleaner and resetting the player to factory defaults? What were your results?

Yes, we tried a lens cleaner and ran it several times, still getting the same screen message. We also tried resetting to factory settings, same results.....NO DISC message.

Hello dcruse89,
If you already tried cleaning the player lens, with other retail copies and a factory reset to no avail, seem then that, at this point, you will need to have a technician take a look at the player. You may take it to your local Best Buy store, so a Geek Squad agent can assist you further on this.
Thank you,
