Ok, here is what I get when I try to enter the Hex.
its on and blinking, I charged it until the light stayed on.
"The Hex code (MEID) you entered does not match the device in your possession. Please check the Hex code (MEID) and try again."
I called the help phone number and they said they would forword my issue to "Wavemarket" help center... How long will that take?
Next question - does the Little Buddy have any computer drivers?

Well I am still waiting for an answer from them...
I sent my e-mails back "Zac at Insignia Customer Care" (2 of them)
and called the best buy support 2 different times....
and still nothing!!
So, I guess I will just wait for the company that does the tech support... insigna does not handle the support. They just forward the info.

I too got the "device not valid" error when I tried to register my device.
I opened an email ticket earlier today, and received the following a few minutes ago (kudos for the quick reply!):
