I live in Canada and wish to travel to different places in Canada, I do not have a passport and have no wish to travel to the US. Is there any way to chose not to travel either across borders or into other countries when planning a trip???

I am in Canada and my NS-NAV01C has both Canada and US maps my only problem is it always takes me to the nearest border crossing so that I can make my trip on USA highways even if it takes me twice as long to get there.

Can you give me some details of the roads you were on and the directions you received? Then we can investigate what is happening in the software routing engine.
Thanks,
Ari

I live in Dartmouth Nova Scotia and my children live both in Brighton Ontario Canada and MooseJaw Sasketwan.
If I select start trip from Dartmouth, I get takin to Houton Maine southwest to Albany NY and then back up through upper state NY to cross back into Canada and travel west to Brighton past Kingston. When tring to plan a trip to MooseJaw I am again taken to Houton Maine and across the upper US to Winconson to the Canadian Border.
I do not have a Passport and wish to stay within the borders of my own country no offence.
