Question 2: What should I do if I cannot connect to the Internet?

If are connecting with Wi-Fi:

  • Check the wireless signal indicator (Icon_Wi-Fi.png) in the status bar at the top of the screen. If there is no signal icon, you are not connected.
  • Make sure that Wi-Fi is turned on.
  • Make sure that you select the right network and enter the correct password.
  • Check your wireless signal strength. If the wireless signal indicator has only one or two bars highlighted, your signal may not be strong enough. Move closer to your router or connect to a network with a stronger signal.
  • Make sure that your router is working correctly. Try resetting your router by disconnecting it from power for 30 seconds, then reconnect it.

If you are connecting with LTE:

  • Make sure that your tablet has a data plan through Verizon Wireless.
  • Make sure that Wi-Fi is turned off. From the home screen, touch Icon_Apps.png, Icon_Settings.png Settings, then Icon_Wi-Fi.png Wi-Fi to access your Wi-Fi settings.
  • LTE or 3G service may not be available at your location. Make sure that you are in an area that supports data connections.
  • If you cannot connect with LTE or 3G, check to see if there is an available Wi-Fi connection that you can use.
