10. How do I setup my speakers with a gaming system?

  • Have you used your Quick Setup Guide to help you through this process? If more help is needed, follow the steps below.
  • A 2-Male/1-Female “Y” adapter cable (not included) is needed to connect your speakers to a gaming system.
  1. Place the speakers on opposite sides of the device (e.g., TV, monitor, etc.) they are connected to and as far apart as possible.
  2. Place the subwoofer on the floor.
  3. Make sure your gaming system and speaker system are turned off and unplugged from the power outlet.
  4. Plug the red and white connectors of the “Y” adapter cable (not included) into the matching jacks on the gaming system.
  5. Plug the cable with the green plug on the right speaker into the “Y” adapter cable.
  6. Plug the cable with the red plug on the right speaker into the jack on the subwoofer.
  7. Plug the black plug from the AC adapter into the back of the subwoofer and the other end into a wall outlet or power strip.
  8. Turn on your gaming system and speaker system.

11. Can I listen to another device (e.g., MP3 player, portable DVD player, CD player, etc.) using these speakers even if the speakers are connected to my computer?

  • Yes, you can connect another device to these speakers using the auxiliary input jack.

 

  • NS-PCS21: An auxiliary input cable is not included; however, one may be purchased from your local Best Buy store.
  • Plug the auxiliary input cable into the headphone jack on your device, then plug the other end into the speaker auxiliary jack located on the back of the Right speaker.
  • NOTE: Make sure the volume on your device is set to 50%.
  • NS-PCS41:
  • Plug the included auxiliary input cable into the headphone jack on your device, then plug the other end into the speaker auxiliary jack located on the front of the Right speaker.
  • NOTE: Make sure the volume on your device is set to 50%.
