8" Tablet not connecting to Internet through WiFi Connection

My son received this tablet last year for Christmas; purchased from Best buy on Thanksgiving Night.

It worked for a little while, yet no longer connects to the Internet.  The WiFi signal is strong, however the tablet never connects to the Internet

 

1) I've disconnected from the WiFi

2) Did a hard reset

3) completely rebooted my Home network system

4) re-established the connection to the WiFi

5) Same result.

 

At one point like I stated earlier, it did connect.  He had Browser pages bookmarked and applications downloaded.

What is the recourse at this point to have this fixed, replaced etc.  Not yet 1 year old but getting real close

Welcome to Community@ Insignia™!

When you reset the wifi connection, did you delete out the original network info, and have to re-enter your wifi password? If you did, or if doing so now doesn't change anything, I would refer you to take the unit into your local Best Buy store. Because Insignia is a Best Buy Exclusive brand, you will need to take the unit to the Geek Squad desk with a copy of the receipt, and they will review the tablet under the 1 year manufacturer warranty.

I have a problem with my tablet it charges well and the WiFi works fine but the data button to access data to see the internet doesn't work. I would like to know what can be done. I thank you for your time I look forward to your reply.

Can you provide the model number for the tablet that you have? It should start with NS-.

 

What do you mean by data button? Is this something in the settings or is this an app that you are clicking on? Do you get any error messages?

So I just barely got an insignia tablet, model NS-P08W7100,  and it will connect to wifi in the room with the router, but lose connection as soon as I leave! I have

reset it

uninstalled and reinstalled it's driver

completed all updates

 

and it still won't work!

So, I don't think my message posted. I had just recently got an insignia tablet, and it worked for a month (as long as I had it) and yesterday, the wifi just completely working. It will only work in the room with the router, but as soon as I leave it disconnects. I am very unhappy with this because I think it may have been an update, but nothing I've read thus far has helped. And yes, I have,

Rebooted the entire device. Accounts and everything.

Disconnected from all my internet places and reconnected.

Reset the wifi.

Even installed updated drives.

 

This is poor quality and I'd like a solution before I take it back and don't get a refund.

I cannot find a link to post a new questiion.  I have a NS-15MS0832 tablet which I bought but it's totally worthless since I cannot connect to the internet because it doesn't have a valid IP configuration.  It was connected when I first got it, wasn't used for awhile and now won't connect.  I am beyond frustrated.
