Re: Flex 10 Tablet

Hello Bigred,

Welcome to Community@ Insignia™!

The tablet does not have a USB port, but it does have a mini USB port.  I tried hooking up a HDD to our tablet, but was unable to get it to work.  While it might be possible to get it to work, it would require a specialized setup.

Re: Flex 10 Tablet

Hello Bigred,

The Insignia Flex 10.1" support a USB feature called OTG via the micro USB port.  In order to plug in a flash drive or hard drive you will need to purcahes an OTG cable that will convert the Micro USB connector into a full size USB a connector.  Once you have this cable you can plug in any USB flash device.  As for hard drives it will depend on the hard drive in question and whether or not the have external power.  Some hard drives require more than the 500mA current this port can provide.

Re: Flex 10 Tablet

I bought a Sandisk Dual Drive USB Type-C. Will I be able to use this on my Insignia 10.1 Windows Flex Tablet? Thanks!
