I plugged in my Flex 8 that i just bought to my Windows 7. The device manager cannot recognize the device.
I can't find any where to download the driver. All the other product make the driver available online.
I am about to return this product if a driver cannot be provided timely.

Welcome to Community@ Insignia™!
Why are you trying to connect the tablet to your computer?
I just tried 2 seperate tablets on multiple computers and they took a little while, but Windows 7 installed the drivers automatically in all cases.

The tablet supports two separate connection types to the Windows 7 Computer. Both can be found under Settings->Storage->more. One is MTP or mass storage or PTP for media playback device. Both connect to Windows without any drivers. If you have another data transfer cable I would try that. Also the device supports OTP so with an OTP cable you can plug in a flash drive. Good luck.

Hi. I also just tried to connect my tablet to the computer today to add files to the hard drive and I got a notification saying driver installation failed. I tried unplugging it and moving it to another port and it wouldn't give me any reaction at all. I'm on a Windows 7 computer that seems to be functional otherwise, and my USB ports are working with other things.

Thank you for responding!
Under settings, go to storage, and at the top right you should see 3dots at the top right, that when you select should give you the option to open the USB storage.
