I honestly like the device quite a bit and I recently got ubuntu running on a live distro but was having trouble with the sound there as well. The company is really the only problem with the device. I have just never experienced a windows PC having zero drivers available.
If you do open it up please let me know what you find. Post some pics up as well. I love modding hardware and this software driver was the first time I just couldn't find it.

Sound support, wifi/bluetooth for this tablet is present in mainline kernel 4.11 rc3.
The Power monitoring is not present in mainline but can be patched in.
I have ubuntu 17.04 beta 64bit dual booting with 32bit win 10 on my NS-P11W7100. As soon as I get the touchscreen working I will remove windows as ubuntu runs quite well on this device
I dont have a lot of spare time right now for researching, does anybody know what touchscreen hardware is in this model?

How were you able to install 64 bit windows? I've tried and I get the error saying it is not a 64 bit compatible device. On other forums they say you cannot install 64 bit windows on it because the bios is 32 bit. Just curious how you were able to get it to install 64 bit windows 10?
