Insignia NS-P11W7100 NO WIFI driver after update to W!0 creators update

Any help locating a working driver, or the name of the driver, or how to install the driver, would be appreciated.  I emailed support but am not expecting a reply.  I may end up taking it back to Best Buy if this can't be resolved.  Thanks

Re: Insignia NS-P11W7100 NO WIFI driver after update to W!0 creators update

Here is the response from Insignia - as I suspected NO help

"Thank you for contacting Insignia Products, this is Adolfo and I will assist you today with your NS-P11W7100 Tablet. I went ahead and did some research for you and I learned that due to copyright we do not have any drivers available for this tablet. However, in order to learn more about you issue and to check what other options we have, please add the information below"

I went ahead and reverted to anniversary edition.  Noted the WIFI driver and am now downloading Intel drivers.  I will go ahead and re-update to Creators Edition and try the Intel drivers.  If it works I will post links to the driver that worked, if any do . . .

Thanks, the WIFI driver wouldn't install.  Being frustrated and having wasted a butt-load of time, I reverted back to anniversary edition (1607).  Maybe it'll get sorted out later, maybe I'll use it as a doorstop...

Someone has already packed a 176MB zip file here in this forum.  Try to research it!

Re: Insignia NS-P11W7100 NO WIFI driver after update to W!0 creators update

Newer drivers and software that work with the Creators Update are available from Intel at the link below.

Bluetooth drivers and software also need to be updated after installing the Creators Update.

https://downloadcenter.intel.com/product/89450/Intel-Dual-Band-Wireless-AC-3165

In Win 10 Creators Update, from Apps and features:

Click on and Uninstall Intel Wireless Bluetooth

Click on and Uninstall Intel PROSet/Wireless Software

Download and install Wireless_19.70.0_PROSet32_Win10.exe

Download and install BT_19.71.0_32_Win10.exe

Just a clarification to my previous post (Message 7). You will have to download the 2 files mentioned to a flash drive or to your desktop before uninstalling the WiFi software and drivers. I know that it's obvious, but I should have mentioned it earlier.

Re: Insignia NS-P11W7100 NO WIFI driver after update to W!0 creators update

Thanks but as I noted above, The WIFI driver (19.70.0 downloaded fron Intel) wouldn't install.  I don't remember why.  I'm wondering what will happen after this fall's Windows update....

I noted and copied (in the driver's property sheet) 3 files in the Windows system32 folder.  I am wondering if dropping them back in the system folder after the inevitable update deletes my WIFI driver will restore WIFI functionality.

Re: Insignia NS-P11W7100 NO WIFI driver after update to W!0 creators update

I have the wifi drivers working on the creator's update. I just used the previous version, 18. dot something, the creators version no 19 something wouldn't work. Try to roll back the driver in device manager or uninstall it and choose find on my machine when reinstalling to get the 18. version. Now my gps sensor won't work today. driver reporting probem. can't find an alternate yet. Anyone else ? have working BCM 4752 sensor? thanks
