I have an Insignia NS-BTHDP bluetooth headset that has a constant red light on. I've tried powering down the headset but the red light remains. I also tried holding the volume "+" and "-" buttons at the same time (with the charger plugged in) to reset the device but it doesn't respond. The red light remains on. Period. Anyone know what the problem is? And how to fix it? Much thanks for advice.

I spent more time troubleshooting the constant red light and found a solution!
With the headset plugged in, I pressed the "+" and "-" buttons simultaneously for 10-15 seconds. In that time I noticed the red light dimmed just slightly, making me think that the headset actually reset this time. After letting go of the 2 buttons I pressed and held the power button for 5-6 seconds. The light finally shifted from constant red to flashing red and blue, indicating that it was in pairing mode.
Next, I turned off the headset, waited for 2 minutes, then powered it up again. It went into the pairing mode (flashing blue and red light). I was then able to sync it to my cell phone and start operation again! I guess I just had to hold the "+" and "-" buttons down longer, then try turning the headset off to get it into the pairing mode. Hope it helps anyone else with this problem.
