Re: NS-P11W7100 - Windows 10 - Can't boot from USB

Realistically, I want to put Win7 on it.  Not sure if it's possible?  I'd settle for Windows 8.1.  It's just that the Windows 10 that came on it is so bloated and occupies 25-30% CPU at idle.  It's outrageous.

You should be able to install Win7 but the issue I think is it's bigger foot print size than win10 and the driver's for Win7.

Using Microsoft tool, it will ask you if u want UEFI and also ask you which OS to put in flashdrive

Re: NS-P11W7100 - Windows 10 - Can't boot from USB

Still no dice getting Windows 7 to install.  The Microsoft tool I have doesn't give an option for UEFI, so not sure where you saw that.

I did manage to get Windows 8.1 to boot (using Easy2Boot), but now I can't get the touch screen to work.  This is actually a showstopper if I can get it going, and I'll have to revert to Windows 10.  I kind of like the Win8.1 right now because my CPU usage at idle is actually where it should be.

Any idea where I can get a touch driver for this?  I have a driver pack that was downloaded on this forum, but it appears to be for Windows 10 only.

When trying to use the driver from the driver pack, I get the yellow triangle and this error:

Windows cannot initialize the device driver for this hardware.
