graphic card

I have a D300a desktop computer. I had to upgrade O/S to Vista home pro. I installed 1gig ram but graphics still slow. I added extra memory after installing new O/S. Also is the onboard graphics card able to be upgraded or replaced ? Any suggestions

Hello marv,

If you would like to upgrade your video card, you will need to use a PCI (not PCI Express) video card. A link to a suitable card for your computer can be found here.

Re: graphic card

Zac I installed the new video card, disabled standard video adapter and drivers in Device Manager after Installation.  the new card shows up in DM and says working properly. Do I need to disable the old card manually from the board, and how? I get nothing but black screen from new screen. and when I restart automatically installs standard video card and drivers.
