My GPS receiver will not connect to the satellite.

 

• It can take up to 5 minutes to connect with a satellite.
• The satellite reception may be blocked by tall buildings or a metal enclosure.
  - Make sure the GPS is located in an open area with a clear view of the sky.
• Static or other external interference may cause the GPS to malfunction.
  - Press the reset button on the bottom of the GPS.

My GPS is not displaying the correct time.

• The GPS syncs with the satellites to display the correct time.
• Make sure your Time Zone is set correctly.

1. From the Settings menu, touch Time. The Time screen opens.
2. You can set one of the following:
  • Format – 12 hour clock or 24 hour clock
  • Zone – Time zone, listed alphabetically
  • Daylight Savings – Auto, On, or Off
3. Touch an option. A secondary screen opens that provides the available choices.
4. Touch the button to make your selection, then touch any button at the bottom of the screen to exit this screen and save your changes.

• The GPS may still be processing and updating the map, wait a few minutes.
• The road may be just off the screen. Adjust the screen by zooming out.
  - To zoom out, touch the – button on the right side of the Map view.

• Please bring your GPS to the Best Buy where you purchased it so it can be evaluated.

I am missing my SD card.

• The SD card comes pre-installed in the GPS unit. Check to see if it is installed in the SD card slot on the right side of the GPS.
• If your card is not already installed in the GPS, please bring it back to Best Buy.

• Options may need to be touched more than once to make the selection.
