AT&T U-Verse Remote Control Code for NS-R5101HD

Anybody out there know the correct uverse remote codes for an Insignia NS-R5101HD receiver? I have my uverse setup my settop box to connect to an LG 60-inch plasma, along with my Mac Mini, both using HDMI cables. I have run a TosLink optical cable from the TV to the receiver and all i want to do is map the volume up and down button to the receiver rather than the TV (since the TosLink output is fixed, not variable). I will do all the rest of the source switching with the TV remote. The problem is that I can not find a code that works, and neither Insignia nor Uverse technical support have been able to help. Anybody?!

 In this case, I do not have any other code listed for that remote.  My advise is to try the suggested ones contained in your remote user manual for SHERWOOD.

Thanks for the recommendation. I made an attempt to use the Sherwood codes after seeing another post with a similar recommendation. I will try again.


These are the codes I have found for Sherwood Receivers (and Home Theater in a Box systems). These are taken from the PDF guide on the Uverse site (http://www.att.com/support_media/images/pdf/uverse/set-up-code-list.pdf)


Sherwood 4062 2397

Sherwood 5027

Sherwood 6011

 

I will let you know what i come up with.

Nope, none of those codes worked.

 

Got any other ideas?
