Bluetooth not working on my Soundbar!

Hey guys,

 

When I first got the soundbar, it was working great and pairing with my phone with no problem.  All of a sudden, it stopped.  It doesn't show as a recognized device.  I've followed all the troubleshooting steps, but still no luck.

 

If it matters, my phone and car talk to each other via bluetooth with no problem at all.  Any tips?

I'd be happy to see if I can offer any suggestions. To start with, can I get the soundbar model #? It should start with a NS-.

Thank you for responding!

I would suggest deleting the soundbar Bluetooth info from your phone, and then re-pairing it to see if that will reestablish the connection.

When you first change the NS-SB314 to the Bluetooth source, does the Bluetooth light start blinking, or does it immediately go solid? If it goes solid, are there any other Bluetooth devices that the soundbar may be paired to? The indicator needs to be blinking to show that the unit is in pairing mode, and looking for signal from the phone to link to.

Hi Jon,

I'm having the same exact issues with my NS-SB314 - Bluetooth worked great at first, but now I can't connect any of my devices to the sound bar. No other devices are connected and the manual says to go back to pairing mode but it won't. My only thought is that someone else in my apartment complex has somehow connected to it accidentally and therefore blocking my access to the sound bar. Any other thoughts as to how I can get to the pairing stage again?

Unfortunately it is going to be a case of distance. If you move the soundbar out of range, it should then re-enter pairing mode and allow you to establish a link back to your normal equipment.

Unfortunately, I'm just a few feet away from the sound bar while trying to pair it and it still doesn't recognize any of my devices and won't go into pairing mode. If someone in my building is somehow connected to it, is there a way to purge their connections? My girlfriend and I just heard Apple keyboard clicks through the sound bar and it was neither of us making the noise. Thanks!

Thank you for responding!

Unfortunately you have to disconnect the sending device, as our unit does not really have a interface. I was actually implying moving the Soundbar away from its current location, to try and put enough distance between it and the neighbors to break that connection, at which point you should then be able to pair it back to one of your devices.
