NS-R5100 Turns off by itself

Hello. I have a NS-R5100 receiver, and it just recently started to turn off by itself when I turn the volume past 34. I am not sure if the power supply is going or if there is another problem. The receiver is not that old. Only a few years. As long as I keep the volume below 34 it will not shut off. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks!

Hello Senseij,

 

What components do you have connected to your receiver? Also does this happen when using the receiver with a specific component or does it happen with any device connected to it?

I have my TV, DVD, and Apple TV connected to my reciever.  It shuts off no matter what component I am using.  

 

Any thoughts or ideas on why this is occuring?  Anything I should be checking or replacing?
