I purchased the NS-SBAR after reading that the INcontrol cable would allow the remote of my Insignia TV to control the volume.  But, lo and behold, I get the sound bar and I find no corresponding INcontrol jack on the back of my TV (model NS-L42Q-10A).

Am I just missing where this is?  Is there not one on my TV?  If no, is there any adapter or procedure to allow the soundbar to be managed through the TV remote?

Sorry for the delay in my response. Unfortunately you will not be able to use INcontrol with the NS-L42Q-10A. I would suggest using the code search feature or the learning feature of the NS-L42Q-10A, instruction on how to use these features can be found on page 32 of the manual.
