Since it is not possible to change the language that the menus are presented in on this receiver, it appears that you are encountering an issue. I would advise resetting the receiver to defaults, this can be done by turning on the receiver, then while holding down the "VCR/DVR" button on the front of the unit, press the "ON/STANDBY" button, "Clear" will display on the receiver to indicate that it has been reset. If you are still experiencing issues after performing this reset, please take the receiver, along with the receipt, to the place of purchase to obtain service. The NS-R5101AHD has a 1 year warranty from the date of purchase.
