We have previously responded for GE universal remotes here. Although the model numbers are different, the code provided should work. Instructions for using the scan/learning feature may differ, so please consult your remote owner's manual if necessary.
I would suggest using the U-verse remote to control the NS-HTIB51A, the reason for this suggestion is that the AT&T box will require special commands for certain functions (DVR, On Demand, etc.) and these can only be activated using the U-verse remote. Since a code is not provided in the document to which Zac linked, I recommend following section B, "Using the Automatic Search" to find a working code.
I purchased Insignia receiver NS-R2001 and cannot find a remote code for my Charter DVR remote that will let me control the volume of this receiver. Charter lists code 589 in their remote code listing for Insignia Audio, but this code does not work. I also tried the Charter code search process, but could not get this to work either. Any ideas on a code that will allow me to control this receiver with my Charter DVR remote?
