Thanks Zac, but I already have the info on that page. I have the code list that came with the GE remote but none of them work. I also saw on another post where someone suggested using Emerson, Memorex or Sansui codes so I tried those and none of them work either. I thought maybe someone might know a special secret.

I have an Insignia Home Theater in a Box with Blu Ray Player Model NS-BRHTIB which I am trying to control with the remote that came with my Scientific Atlanta 8300 Box provided by Brighthouse Networks.

I THINK the model of my remote is:  A031902

Hello bigach,

I would suggest using the code search feature of the remote. This can be done by following these steps:

1. Turn on your NS-BRHTIB.
2. Press the "Aux" button on the remote, then press and hold the "Setup" button until the aux button blinks twice, then release.
3. Press 9 9 1, the aux button will blink twice again.
4. Aim the remote at the unit and slowly alternate between pressing "PWR" and "Aux", stop when the unit turns off.
5. Press "Setup" to save the code.

Hi! Thanks for offering remote-code help. I have an NS-R200o receiver which I am trying to program with a Brighthouse UR5U-8780L-BHI remote. by CLIKR-5. The only code in the CLICKR-5 manual is 589 and that doesn't work. Thanks for your help.

Upadte: The NS-R2000 responds to a Sherwood code for the CLIKR-5. Yay!
