Screen protectors for Digital Cameras

Hi, We need to have screen protectors for Digital Cameras & Camcorders. I have people ask for them everyday at work and it would be great if I could show them INSIGNIA brand protectors. Best Buy does not carry screen protectors for Digital Cameras and we need to- especially polarized ones ( At least in sunny states like FL, AZ, TX, etc...). Customers complain all the time about trying to take pictures using the LCD screens on Cameras in bright sunlight. Sure, the new LCD screens have improved but not enough to cut all the glare. Most new cameras (Point & Shoot, as well as camcorders) do not have a viewfinder anymore.

A green Insignia cleaning cloth could be incuded in a kit of 2 washable "screens". Many of the LCD screen sizes are common, unlike mobile phone screens.

Please consider testing some screen protectors in Florida and Arizonia, Both of these states have plenty of sunshine!

Screen protectors

I know there are several companies out there that make screen protectors, however, Best Buy does not carry any for Digital cameras. I know there is a market for them because I am asked for them everyday at work. We could have the polorized ones for cameras/camcorders. It is thin film that can be washed and reused.

We could also include an INSIGNIA green cleaning cloth to keep up with branding. We could also use these a race events to brand Insignia to race fans.

Re: Screen protectors

Best Buy does actually carry this product for cameras/camcorders.  It's under the Init brand:

This product is not in all stores, but we are working on that.  It includes screen protectors for a few different screen sizes, a small cleaning cloth, and a soft card to assist with the removal of bubbles on the screen.

Spread the word!
