I have not yet purchased a new digital frame. I like the insignia frame but it seems to be lacking one feature that is very important to me. I need a frame that either has its own email address so that photos can be emailed directly to the frame or I need a frame that I can set up to work with my frame channel account. Does Insignia have a frame with this feature that I may have overlooked? Are there plans for one in the near future? If not then this is a new product idea. Thanks for listening.

It looks very nice. I will watch for it at our local Best Buy. I hope it will be able to apply the same zoom and pan effect as the photo frame. That was the "set apart" feature for the insignia frames over the other ones on the market.

I am still looking for a frame. I love the insignia frame that has face detection with pan and zoom. The major drawback is the lack of wifi or internet connectivity. I notice it has a USB port. Would it be possible to put a wifi dongle into the USB port and then use it to connect to my home network? Would I then be able to send pictures from my computer directly to the frame?

Hello framelooker,
We'll be happy to look into this if you'll please reply with the photo frame model number about which you're inquiring. However, in reviewing the functionality of the current photo frames, the USB port is compatible with flash drives, not WiFi hardware.

I love the zoom and pan capabilities that seem unique to the older insignia frames and would love to see that feature combined with wifi or blue tooth capabilities. I have been watching the Insignia website on a daily or weekly basis. They have discontinued many frames, including some of the newer ones. But they have not added anything new for a long time. Is Insignia still making digital frames? Do they have plans for a new frame? I am not looking for a lot of features, just the pan and zoom with wifi or bluetooth. (I had to go with a different frame for Mother's Day but hope that I can buy an Insignia frame before the holidays.) Wifi or Bluetooth is an essential for me.
